gridify.js is a light-weight JavaScript library (4KB) to create very clean and Pinterest like HTML grid layout without any animation or effect added, best for doing customization.
It can be use as jQuery plugin and YUI plugin also. Just attach gridify() to the selector and you set the grid columns margin, width, max_width, resizable or transition to get started immediately.
